Job Description


A growing national organization is seeking a Vice President & Director of Talent Development to lead enterprise-wide strategies that strengthen leadership capability, enhance workforce performance, and support long-term organizational goals. This senior HR leader will partner closely with executives to shape how talent is assessed, developed, and supported across the company while leading a team responsible for key development and performance programs.
Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategy and execution of talent development, leadership programs, performance management, and succession planning

  • Manage and develop a large team of L&D and talent professionals, including future team expansion

  • Partner with senior leaders to identify development needs and build scalable programs that support organizational growth

  • Oversee engagement and capability-building initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives

  • Evaluate and enhance existing development programs;recommend improvements and new solutions

  • Manage budgets, learning tools, and resources for effective program delivery

  • Serve as a strategic advisor and thought partner to the Chief People Officer and HR leadership team
Qualifications

  • 10+ years minimum of experience in talent development, L&D, or organizational development

  • Proven leadership experience managing multi-level development teams

  • Strong communication and influencing skills with executive-level stakeholders

  • Ability to design and implement large-scale development strategies

  • Experience with performance and leadership development programs required

  • Bachelor’s degree required;advanced degree preferred
