Position Title: Training Manager
Location: Kansas City, Missouri (Hybrid Schedule)
We are seeking a dynamic Training Manager to join our clients team in Kansas City, Missouri. This full-time position offers a hybrid schedule.
- Lead training programs and administrative services to ensure the delivery of consistent, high-quality learning experiences.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs and processes, implementing improvements as needed.
- Coach and mentor a team to achieve success.
- Drive Learning & Development (L&D) activities to ensure alignment with modern industry standards.
Management Responsibilities:
This role will involve overseeing up to six direct reports.
Skills & Experience:
- Profound understanding of learning and development strategies, including methodologies such as ADDIE and agile design cycles, as well as leadership development and organizational effectiveness.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience with learning management systems and e-learning platforms.
- Create operational training and industry trends.
- Expertise in implementing adult learning theory, instructional techniques, and learning technologies.
- Demonstrated desire to innovate and mentor others.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to translate business objectives into effective learning initiatives.
- Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong project management and organizational abilities.
- Collaboration skills with diverse teams and individuals.
- Growth mindset, adaptable to a changing work environment.
- Innovative problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively within a team environment.
Required Experience & Education:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field (training management, training and development, etc.).
- Ten or more years of training management experience in a corporate setting.
- Previous experience managing a team is required for this role.
