Role and Responsibilities:

  • Talent Acquisition Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned with overarching objectives for the Americas.

  • Leadership and Coaching: Lead by example, demonstrating core values, and inspire and motivate a team of talent acquisition professionals to deliver high-performance results.

  • Performance Management: Set and drive key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of the talent acquisition function.

  • Top-Tier Recruitment: Take ownership of sourcing, attracting, and hiring top-tier candidates for specific key roles in Kansas and across the United States.

  • High-Volume Recruitment: Oversee and optimize the recruitment process for high-volume warehouse positions, ensuring a steady pipeline of qualified candidates.

  • Collaborative Partnerships: Partner with hiring managers to define position requirements, develop job descriptions, and create effective sourcing strategies.

  • Innovative Sourcing: Utilize diverse sourcing channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, industry events, job fairs, and referral programs.

  • Candidate Assessment: Conduct thorough candidate assessments, interviews, reference checks, and skills evaluations to ensure the selection of highly qualified individuals.

  • Candidate Experience: Own the candidate experience, ensuring a compelling and positive journey throughout the application process.

  • Talent Acquisition Center of Excellence: Play a critical role in building and standardizing talent acquisition processes and best practices across the Americas region.

  • Compliance and Regulations: Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements related to recruitment and hiring practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.

  • Minimum of 10 years of talent acquisition experience in a complex, matrixed organization, preferably within warehouse, logistics, supply chain, or related industries.

  • Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing talent acquisition teams.

  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to build strong relationships and influence decision-makers at various levels, including remote collaboration.

  • Excellent time and project management skills, adept at prioritizing and executing multiple initiatives simultaneously.

  • Deep understanding of recruitment best practices, market trends, and innovative talent acquisition strategies.

  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (SuccessFactors, Workday, or other) and involvement in system implementations is a plus.
