Staff Accountant
Morgan Hunter has been engaged on the search for a Staff Accountant to join our client in the Manufacturing industry in the Kansas City Metro Area, the Staff Accountant will report to the Controller and work alongside a team of professional accountants. The main responsibilities of the role will focus on reconciling various accounts, maintaining fixed assets, and performing the full month end close. The ideal Staff Accountant will be focused on career growth and learning on cutting edge technology!

The Staff Accountant responsibilities include but are not limited to:
•Prepare financial reports and budgets for the Firm
•Financial analysis, ad hoc analysis
•Review and analyze GL transactions and accounts
•Assist with Budgeting/Forecasting
•Monthly account reviews and variance analyses
•Assist multiple departments as a financial liaison
•Responsible for the analysis, management and implementation of financial initiatives
•Process improvements
•Work with other teams to assist with ad hoc projects as needed
•Comply with the development of accounting policies and procedures and internal controls policies and procedures
•Assist with systems implementations and special projects
Qualifications of the Staff Accountant:
•Bachelors in Accounting or Finance
•1+ years of experience, including internships
•Highly technically, ability to communicate effectively at all levels, organized, attention to detail
•Strong organizational skills
•Excellent communication skills
•Ability to manage multiple projects
•Self-starter
