Job Description
Skills and Abilities: Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
•Assisting with financial statement preparation
•Invoice preparation and reconciliation
•Tracking annual fiscal plans and monthly updates
•Supporting and preparing financial data for daily, weekly, monthly reports, contract-level financial reports
•Resolves reporting and compliance issues
•Prepares special reports and financial studies for management and alerts them to significant variances to plan
•Ensures compliance with contract and project requirements and performs all other position related duties as assigned
•Prepare and check cost sheets for bids, proposals, modifications, etc.
•Assists with verifying and validating vendor quotes, invoices, and task orders
•Excellent organizational skills and ability to work well under stress, despite numerous interruptions.
•Accuracy and attention to detail.
•Ability to work independently and resolve practical problems.
•Ability to deal effectively and tactfully with a wide variety of individuals in person, via telephone and in writing.
•Must have strong multitasking skills.
•Must have strong computer skills in spreadsheets, databases, interaction with customer portals, and advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite
Requirements:
•A minimum of 1 years of business experience with proven experience in technical program planning and implementation, budget development, and contract interpretation
•Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
•Government project administration experience, including thorough knowledge of FAR/DFAR and other applicable government regulations
•US citizen eligible for U.S
Secret security clearance
•Must successfully pass a background check
Abilities:
•Exposure to computer screens for an extended period of time.
•Sitting for extended periods of time.
•Reach by extending hands or arms in any direction.
•Have finger dexterity in order to manipulate objects with fingers rather than whole hands or arms, for example, using a keyboard.
•Listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.
•Communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand.
•Read and understand information and ideas presented in writing.
•Apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense.
•Identify and understand the speech of another person.
