Staff Accountant – Level II
- Daily: Reply to all emails. Try to send a response to each email per day.
- Weekly: Submit AP information to AP department following bank reconciliation.
- Analyze Vendor Aging
- Monthly: Bank Draw submissions for constructions projects (ideally once per month if needed)
- Monthly: Prepaid and Accrual Journal Entries
- Monthly: Generate Management Fee Report and book invoices to Accounting
- Monthly: Loan & Investor Payments (day before month-end close)
- Monthly: Financial statement preparation (prepare for review)
- Annual: Personal Property Taxes for applicable states – Varies throughout year. Maintain a schedule within the Accounting Tracker to ensure all Property Taxes are paid.
- Annual: Budgeting (September-November)
- Annual: Capital Expenditure and Fixed Asset review – Generally beginning to mid January
- Upon Request: Assist Jeff Plummer with Finance-related items (example: refinancing a project)
- Upon Request: Construction – assist with change order process
