Job Description

Our client is a privately-held organization within a niche industry in the Kansas City metropolitan area. As the Senior Human Resources Director, this newly created role is key to succession planning for the organization and will position the right candidate to lead all aspects of Human Resources as the company continues to grow. This is a high impact, hands-on role for a true strategic partner who is comfortable with executive leadership as well as with an hourly workforce.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee HR Operations to ensure compliance, efficiency, and continuous improvement with business objectives.
  • Manage and direct efforts of an HR team that spans several locations in multiple states.
  • Implement HRIS that enhance performance management, training and employee development efforts.
  • Partner with Talent Development team on recruitment initiatives to attract and retain a motivated workforce.
  • Provide guidance and counsel to leadership and managers as day-to-day issues arise.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in human resources or business management
  • SHRM or HRCI certification is preferred.
  • 15+ year's progressive experience in HR management with expertise in key areas of the profession.
  • Broad knowledge of labor and employment laws within union and non-union environments.
  • Experience in food manufacturing or food processing industries is required.
  • Ability to travel 20%. This position is 100% in office.
  • Some relocation assistance provided.
