As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a seasoned Senior Collections Manager to oversee our accounts receivable and collections function, ensuring financial stability while preserving strong client relationships.

Role Overview
The Senior Collections Manager will lead our collections strategy, manage a high-performing team, and partner with senior leadership to optimize working capital. This role requires a balance of financial acumen, leadership, and diplomacy to safeguard cash flow while maintaining the firm’s reputation for professionalism and client service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of collections specialists.

  • Design and execute strategies to improve collections efficiency and reduce delinquency.

  • Maintain positive client relationships while addressing payment issues with discretion and professionalism.

  • Partner with Finance, Legal, and Client Service teams to resolve disputes and streamline billing processes.

  • Deliver accurate forecasting, reporting, and analysis of receivables to senior management.

  • Ensure compliance with firm policies and applicable regulations.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in collections, credit, or AR management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

  • Background in a professional services or client-facing environment strongly preferred.

  • Demonstrated success in improving collection rates and leading teams.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong analytical ability with proficiency in financial systems and reporting tools.
