Recruiter – Internship

We are looking for someone with an engaging personality, who is highly-motivated, well-spoken and has proven grit!

  • Experience working within a CRM Database, LinkedIn Recruiter, and a variety of other recruiting platforms

Day-to-day tasks:

  • Shadow recruiters to learn the full-desk concept of recruiting -- full-cycle recruiting and business development
  • Learn how to identify, match and present candidates for a variety of positions
  • Participate in every phase of the interview process: phone screen, coordination of interview, interview, matching & preparing candidates for interviews
  • Attend client company meetings with recruiters to gather specific details on new roles and assess company cultures
  • Attend various training events and learn different aspects of the recruiting firm business
  • Shadow four other specialized divisions within Morgan Hunter to learn their clientele and candidate market
  • Research new companies in KC
  • Learn Morgan Hunter's consultative approach with client companies that's built around company culture, structure and strong relationships with hiring managers.

Skills needed to be successful:
  • A networking/connector mindset - must be able to pick up the phone and be networking and talking with people every day
  • Entrepreneurial and fearless
  • Desire to research and seek new client leads
  • Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Strong attention to detail – ability to maintain accurate records within a CRM database
  • Passionate about being the best at what you do
  • Disciplined, organized and a planner

Hours: 9a-3p; however, we are flexible
Dates: May/June 2020 through August 2020 (flexible on start/end dates)
