What You'll Be Doing
- Create and release purchase orders.
- Monitor supplier delivery commitments.
- Follow up on open orders and resolve vendor issues.
- Work closely with customer service, operations, and warehouse teams.
- Request supplier quotations.
- Expedite orders when customer needs change.
- Maintain purchasing records and inventory related data.
- Help ensure materials are available to meet production and customer demand.
- Approximately 1 to 3+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain, buyer or purchasing coordinator roles, materials planning, or vendor management.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship building abilities.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel.
- Exposure to ERP or MRP systems is helpful.
- Power BI experience is a plus but not required.
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but comparable experience will also be considered.
- Contract to hire with long term potential.
- Large international company with excellent stability.
- Hybrid schedule after approximately 90 days of training.
- Collaborative team environment.
- Opportunity to build valuable procurement and sourcing experience.
- Pay range of $60, 000 - 70, 000/year depending on experience.
