Job Description

Mission driven organization seeking a Payroll and Benefits Coordinator to join their team. Small company, fantastic people, and supportive work culture.

Overview of the role:
  • Process Payroll including W2 reporting, garnishments, pay rate changes and deductions
  • Administer company benefits program to include health, vision, dental, and life insurance
  • Administer 401(k) plan and work with 3rd party vendor
  • Leave administration and tracking workers compensation, and unemployment claims
  • Yearly review of benefits plans and partner with internal leadership on selecting new plan features
  • Coordinate and plan company training sessions
  • Collaborate on other Human Resources initiatives as well


Skill set needed:
  • Previous experience processing payroll and administering company benefits plans
  • High attention to detail and organization skills
  • Previous HRIS and excel experience
  • Ability to work independently and handle confidential information
  • Good communication skills, as well as follow up and responding to employee questions
