Job Description


Our client company is searching for an Organizational Development Manager which is a pivotal role within the company, responsible for planning, designing, and implementing talent and organizational development programs that align with the company's values and support its business goals. This position requires a combination of strategic thinking, strong leadership, and a deep understanding of human resources and organizational development principles. The role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to identify needs, develop strategies, and execute programs that enhance employee growth, engagement, and overall performance. This role is an on-site position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Needs Assessment and Strategy Development:
    • Utilize data-driven assessment tools to identify gaps between the current state and business goals.
    • Collaborate with business and HR leadership to align talent development strategies with the organization's vision.
    • Create a talent development strategy that addresses skill gaps and prepares employees for career progression.
  • Talent Development Programs:
    • Design and implement talent development programs that enhance employee skills and drive productivity.
    • Ensure alignment between new and existing programs to create a cohesive development strategy.
    • Create a continuous learning culture that positively impacts company culture and performance.
  • Communication and Integration:

    • Partner with internal communications to promote talent development programs and their alignment with business objectives.
    • Integrate onboarding programs with the broader talent development strategy.
  • Leadership Development:
    • Develop and implement leadership development programs that align with company values and competencies.
    • Support succession planning by identifying high-potential employees and providing them with opportunities for growth.
  • Career Path Program:

    • Establish a company-wide career path program in collaboration with leadership and HR partners.
    • Ensure alignment between job architecture, descriptions, and career path program objectives.
  • Technology and Innovation:
    • Leverage technology to enhance training and development programs.
    • Stay updated on industry best practices and incorporate them into internal programs.
    • Troubleshoot technology-related issues and maximize its utilization.
  • Performance Measurement:
    • Develop and use assessment tools to measure the effectiveness of talent development programs.
    • Provide input into the annual business plan by setting goals, estimating costs, and identifying required resources.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
    • Lead and manage the training team and other project members.
    • Recruit, train, develop, and retain high-performing staff.
    • Foster an inclusive and productive team environment.
  • Company Culture and Values:
    • Promote the company's mission, values, safety program, diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts.
    • Maintain strong relationships and effective communication with employees, managers, and leaders.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, with a preference for an emphasis on Human Resources or Organizational Development.
  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive human resources experience, including at least 7 years in talent and/or organizational development.
  • Previous experience in managing direct reports.
  • Demonstrated ability to create talent development strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Experience in developing and implementing competency-based development programs for employees and leaders.
  • Proficiency in utilizing assessment tools and analyzing results for strategic decision-making.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to influence others and manage change effectively.
  • Proficiency in training delivery methods and electronic learning management systems.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Experience in cost and schedule forecasting.
