If you love working with data but have no desire to be a developer, this one is for you. You must also live/work in Kansas City to be considered.
Our client is hiring a marketing-focused data leader who can take raw inputs and turn them into clear, usable information. This is not a coding role. It is a business facing position sitting inside marketing, working closely with internal teams and external clients who need someone that can explain complex data in plain English. You will be the bridge between data and decision making.
The role:
- Gather and clarify business requirements for campaigns and data projects
- Manage incoming data feeds and segmentation logic tied to marketing initiatives
- Partner with client facing teams to scope projects, set expectations, and keep timelines moving
- Audit and validate data to ensure accuracy before it is deployed
- Translate technical processes into simple, executive level updates
- Coordinate across multiple teams to resolve integration issues and improve efficiency
What you need:
- 2 to 5+ years of experience in CRM, marketing data, database project management, or similar environments
- Strong Excel skills and comfort working around databases and data feeds
- Ability to document processes clearly and stay highly organized
- Confident communicator who can lead client conversations without hiding behind jargon
- High ownership mindset with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines
The ideal candidate is curious, outgoing, and energized by solving data puzzles. You enjoy being the go to person when a team needs clarity. You like structure, but you also like people. You can sit with technical teams one minute and explain the impact to non technical stakeholders the next.
