We are seeking an Insurance Underwriter to join our client’s fast-growing property and casualty team. Entry-level candidate with a strong attention to detail and an analytical mindset? This is a professional role where you will develop underwriting skills through training, mentorship, and hands-on experience evaluating risk and analyzing data. You can do all of this while enjoying a dynamic and fun work environment where teams work hard and play hard. The role is on-site in the Kansas City metropolitan area, and is not remote. Some details:

Responsibilities
  • Review applications and assess risk profiles for new and renewal policies
  • Analyze data, reports, and market trends to support underwriting decisions
  • Collaborate with senior underwriters on pricing, terms, and conditions
  • Communicate effectively with agents, brokers, and internal teams
  • Follow underwriting guidelines and ensure compliance with regulations

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Internship or 1+ years of experience in a corporate or professional environment
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines
