Job Description


Our client is seeking a one year Contract Instructional Designer to join their team. This opportunity offers lots of flexibility!

Responsibilities:
  • Innovate and enhance online courses, tutorials, quizzes, and various instructional materials using cutting-edge authoring tools and instructional technologies.
  • Collaborate with subject-matter experts, guiding them through the course development process to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
  • Design captivating and optimized learning content that aligns with defined learning objectives.
  • Develop a variety of instructional materials, including courses, curriculum, learner guides, and training manuals.
  • Utilize your creativity to incorporate visual, audio, and interactive elements into learning tools, making the educational experience both enjoyable and impactful.
  • Coordinate and lead webinars, online training sessions, and other engaging learning events.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of courses using industry-recognized practices and implement redesigns to meet the evolving needs of our learners.
  • Maintain meticulous development records and prepare comprehensive course evaluation reports, highlighting learner satisfaction and insights for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree with coursework in instructional design, adult learning theory, and training.
  • Over three years of hands-on experience in instructional design and curriculum development for adult learners.
  • Proficiency in using course authoring software such as Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline, and tools like Camtasia, along with familiarity with learning management systems and content management systems.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical, applied use cases.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
