Job Description
Morgan Hunter is working with a valued client to help them find an Infrastructure Manager to add to their team. This role would be in the office everyday for the first couple of months and then move into a hybrid set-up once established.
Requirements and Competencies:
- Bachelor's Degree in an Information Systems field or related work experience.
- 7+ years experience in an information technology role and 2+ years experience in organizational leadership and career development.
- Excellent knowledge of IT infrastructure operations including a good knowledge of IT best practices, industry trends and compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational and project management skills are required.
- Experience in logistics and procurement in hardware and 3rd Party Systems/Tools.
- Experience with vendor development and managing SOWs, RFPs, SLAs, and general vendor relationships.
- Ability to multitask, manage and meet deadlines, and work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to perform complex analyses and complete tasks successfully on time.
- Strong communication and analytical skills (written & verbal).
- Strong management skills with the ability to develop teams and cultivate talent.
- Self-motivated/directed to handle multiple tasks and projects with minimal direction.
- Ability to quickly learn new systems and adapt to new technologies.
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and work demands.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and management of patching servers, networking equipment, and end user devices.
- Maintenance of on-prem and off-prem phone solutions.
- Responsible for network security between sites and perimeter connections.
- Execute to ensure data availability and network services with as little downtime as necessary.
- Managing team to resolve hardware and software problems in a timely and appropriate fashion.
- Responsible for ensuring the continuity and resilience of IT systems and services in the event of a disruption, disaster, or emergency.
- Responsible for the analysis, design, planning, implementation, and maintenance of all facets of the IT Infrastructure and Networking.
- Plans, coordinates, and directs all daily operational activities and provides direction and solutions that enhance mission-critical operations of the IT infrastructure department.
- Providing oversight for 24x7 IT infrastructure services and operations.
- Create and implement IT procedures and plans for disaster recovery and business continuity, Incident response activities, administration of systems, support methods and procedures.
- Manage/execute Infrastructure projects, including allocation of resources, assignment/delegation of subprojects and tasks, tracking of project milestones and completion, project budgeting.
- Monitor IT Infrastructure, system performance, trouble tracking and remediation for all Infrastructure issues.
- Hire, supervise, develop, evaluate, mentor, and coach staff.
- Other duties as assigned.
