A global organization with a corporate presence in the Kansas City area is seeking an HR Business Partner to join a small, collaborative HR team. This fully-onsite role offers broad exposure across compensation, HR operations, payroll support, recruiting, and strategic HR initiatives, with regular interaction with senior leadership.

This is a hands-on, high-visibility role ideal for an HR professional who enjoys owning projects, influencing decision-making, and balancing day-to-day HR support with longer-term initiatives. Responsibilities

  • Support compensation programs including salary administration, merit planning, and incentive programs

  • Partner on HRIS initiatives, including preparation for a future system implementation and serving as a subject matter expert

  • Assist with monthly payroll processing for a global employee population

  • Support recruiting efforts for corporate roles and manage a steady requisition load

  • Lead and contribute to HR projects focused on process improvement and operational efficiency

  • Prepare HR reports, data analysis, and workforce insights for leadership

  • Serve as a trusted HR partner to managers and employees, including regular interaction with executive leadership

  • Collaborate with HR colleagues on global initiatives and best practices
Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience in a generalist or HR business partner role

  • Strong experience with compensation, HR operations, and project-based work

  • Exposure to HRIS platforms (Workday or SuccessFactors a plus)

  • Analytical mindset with comfort interpreting data and building reports

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment

  • Bachelor’s degree required;HR certification preferred
