Our client located in Overland Park, KS is searching for a strategic and versatile Human Resources Director to lead the HR department and shape employee experience across the organization. This pivotal role involves developing HR strategies that align with business objectives while fostering a positive culture. This role is fully in-office, offering the opportunity to work alongside a supportive, family-oriented team!

Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Oversee talent management, including recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies.
- Foster a positive work environment, resolving employee concerns and managing conflict.
- Design and manage performance appraisal systems to drive employee growth and success.
- Ensure competitive compensation and benefits programs in line with industry standards.
- Create and implement employee training programs to support career and leadership development.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Develop HR policies while tracking HR metrics ensuring procedures stay up to date.
- Own and manage HRIS solutions to optimize operations company wide.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 12 years of HR experience, including 7 years in leadership.
- In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and organizational development.
- Proven ability to lead and implement strategic HR initiatives.
- Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Preferred experience with multi-market, union/non-union environments, and federal contract compliance.
- SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification is a plus.
