Job Description
Our client in Kansas City, MO is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee day-to-day HR operations and partner with leadership on a broad range of people initiatives. This hands-on role supports all areas of Human Resources and is well suited for someone who enjoys working across both strategic and operational HR functions.

- Serve as the primary Human Resources resource, supporting employees and leadership on a wide range of HR matters.
- Partner with managers on employee relations, performance management, coaching, leadership development, and workplace concerns.
- Lead full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, and retention efforts across a variety of positions.
- Administer employee benefits, leave programs, workers' compensation, and other HR processes.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and HR best practices.
- Maintain employee records, reporting, and HR documentation while supporting ongoing process improvements.
- Coordinate employee engagement, recognition, and culture-building initiatives.
- Partner with leadership on organizational planning, talent development, and other strategic HR initiatives.
- Support additional HR projects and operational needs as assigned.
- 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience with exposure to multiple functional areas.
- Experience serving as the primary HR resource or supporting a broad range of HR responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of employee relations, recruiting, performance management, benefits, and employment practices.
- Proven ability to build relationships and effectively coach managers at all levels.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment with shifting priorities.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
