Job Description

This is a contract HR Business Partner role, 6 month project, possibly longer term. This role will have responsibility for aligning human resources strategy and service with the business objectives of different business units. Provide human resources consultative services to leadership throughout the organization. This is a rapidly growing organization, and you will join an established human resources team.

Quick overview of the role:
  • Partner with leadership on talent management and employee development strategies
  • Coach and guide leaders on training and development in leading highly effective teams
  • Guide on succession planning, performance management, employee engagement and organizational design
  • Assist managers with performance management and effective conversations
  • Facilitate training for associates and leaders
  • Assist with projects and other HR initiatives
  • Pull HR data together to identify trends, and gather data to help make future talent and business decisions

Skillset needed:
  • Excellent communication skills, and ability to build trust and establish relationships
  • 5 years experience in Human Resources, with dedicated employee development and performance management
  • Bachelor's degree in HR or related field, or equivalent HR experience
  • Previous HRIS experience, as well as general computer skills
  • Excellent organization skills, and ability to work in a fast paced work environment
  • Hybrid work schedule, with location in Overland Park, KS
