Job Description

Based in Kansas City, Missouri, our client is adding to their human resources team! Newly created Human Resources Business Partner role will bring expertise to the organization in the areas of employee relations, performance management, and be a part of change management and project management. This is a great opportunity to work with a collaborative HR team and in a hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner and consult with business unit leadership teams on people strategy initiatives
  • Coach and support leadership in training and tools to help develop high performing teams
  • Partner with peers to deliver training as business needs require
  • Drive completion of performance management, organizational design and succession planning
  • Work with leaders on associate relations, developing goals, an driving performance
  • Present engagement surveys and feedback surveys, facilitate focus groups to develop action plans
  • Partner with Human Resources team on projects and initiatives
  • Utilize data for reporting, identify trends and development
  • Assist in culture management and be an advocate for company culture

  • Excellent relationship building skills, build trust and take a consultative approach
  • Exceptional communication skills and confidence in communicating with associates at all levels of the organization
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business or a related field
  • 5 years general HR experience, dedicated employee relations and performance management experience
  • Basic understanding and knowledge of employment law
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, that often sees constant change
  • This is a HYBRID position, 2 days per week are required in office located in Kansas City, MO
