The HR Assistant position requires an outgoing, personable individual who enjoys interacting and connecting with people on a day-to-day basis. If you possess a high level of professionalism, excellent interactive and administrative skills; and would enjoy serving in a dual Administrative/HR support position, we’ d love to chat!

Expectations:
  • Professionally answers and routes incoming telephone calls on a multi-line telephone system with a high level of customer service
  • Exhibits empathy and initiative when addressing organizational questions and provides correct information based upon the caller’ s needs
  • Warmly and professionally welcomes and announces on-site visitors
  • Sorts incoming and inter-office mail for delivery to appropriate colleagues
  • Correctly creates, updates and routs company documents
  • Tracks the renewal of company sponsored memberships and employee participation in company sponsored programs
  • Assists in coordinating company sponsored events, including, but not limited to, Executive meetings, Lunch and Learns, etc.
  • Creates and distribute Anniversary and Birthday Cards
  • Assists HR with recruiting efforts- posting positions, scheduling interviews, and updating reports
  • Maintains organizational charts
  • Other clerical and support duties as assigned

Qualifications:
  • Minimum high school diploma or GED; Associates degree preferred
  • 1-3 years of administrative/clerical/receptionist experience
  • Microsoft Office and multi-line phone proficiency
  • Exhibits flexibility, resourcefulness, self-confidence, and tact
  • Provides detailed event planning experience
  • Dependable, punctual, and a cheerful team-player
  • Previous HR experience is a plus
