Our client is searching for a Director of Learning & Development to lead a talented L&D team in delivering impactful operational, professional, and leadership development across their well-known and well-loved KC organization. In this role, you'll help shape organizational learning strategy and enhance employee capabilities, all in alignment with the company's inspiring core values and vision.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute learning strategies to meet current and future business goals.
  • Identify talent needs and propose effective learning solutions.
  • Partner with HR and business leaders on the design and delivery of new hire learning programs, career path learning curriculums, as well as professional and leadership development pathways.
  • Lead and mentor a team to design and implement high-impact training solutions.
  • Create communication campaigns to highlight L&D offerings.
  • Manage relationships with third-party training providers, identifying and tracking delivery methods and impact.
  • Develop and share clear and concise L&D metrics and insights.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to deliver integrated training solutions.
  • Collaborate with Talent Management and HR teams to ensure advantages to L&D opportunities are known and felt across the organization.

Job Requirements:
  • Strong ability to complete work accurately, thoroughly, and on time.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and advanced presentation skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of adult learning strategies, instructional design, and performance consulting.
  • Proven problem-solving skills and ability to manage complex projects.
  • Experience in developing long-term capabilities and aligning HR programs with business goals.
  • Effective leadership, team collaboration, and relationship-building skills.

Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in organizational development, human resources, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive learning and development experience.
  • At least 5 years of leadership or managing a team.
  • Experience with a wide range of training and development programs and offerings
