Job Description
Our client is seeking a talented Controller to contribute to their ongoing success. If you are good with numbers, detail oriented, possess a strong work ethic and are a leader than this opportunity could be a great fit! We are looking for an accounting professional who will interact with all business units to help drive the overall success of the Company. We need an individual that can utilize their skills and knowledge to implement accounting processes, procedures and systems.
Reporting to the CEO, the ideal candidate will:
- Lead a high performing team
- Recruit, motivate, and develop a high-performing accounting team
- Partner closely with leadership to support the strategic vision
- Establish cross-functional collaboration and communication among departments
- Identify and implement accounting best practices
- Optimize ERP system management
- Manage the company's budgeting process
- Prepare monthly financial reports, identify and analyze key performance indicators
- Manage the audit process
- Ensure accurate filing of all federal, state, and local tax and compliance reports
Preferred Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required
- Public accounting experience and CPA preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience
- Minimum of 3 years of management experience
- ERP experience, NetSuite is a plus
