Job Description
We are partnering with a manufacturing organization to add a Contract HR Manager to its team on a contract basis. This is a hands-on HR leadership role overseeing the day-to-day HR function and partnering closely with senior leadership to support employees, operations, and business initiatives.
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced HR professional who enjoys stepping into an organization, quickly getting up to speed, and balancing day-to-day HR operations with strategic partnership. The role will support a midsized workforce across multiple locations and oversee a broad range of HR functions.
Responsibilities
- Oversee payroll and HRIS administration
- Manage benefits, leave administration, and workers’compensation
- Lead recruiting, onboarding, and employee relations
- Partner with leadership on retention, engagement, and HR initiatives
- Oversee compliance, policies, and employee records
- Support performance management, manager coaching, and employee development
- Improve HR processes, systems, and programs
- Provide HR support across multiple locations
Qualifications
- Progressive HR leadership experience with broad responsibility across the HR function
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Manufacturing experience required
- Hands-on payroll processing experience required
- Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
