Job Description
Are you an HR professional looking to gain experience in all around functions of HR? Our client, a well-established KC area company, is seeking an HR Generalist for a long-term contract role with the potential for a permanent position in the future. This opportunity offers a collaborative work environment where you’ll support multiple HR functions, working closely with experienced professionals.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with benefits administration, including answering employee inquiries and reconciling monthly benefits data in Excel.
- Prepare detailed total compensation statements, working with large datasets in Excel (X-Lookups and Pivot Tables required).
- Maintain HR data and run reports within UKG system.
- Support wellness initiatives, including coordinating events and logistics.
- Manage miscellaneous HR projects, ensuring data is accurate and up to date within systems.
- Coordinate internship program logistics, including event planning, scheduling, and payments.
- Handle recruitment tasks, such as scheduling interviews, prescreening candidates, and managing job postings.
- Assist with career fairs and campus recruiting as needed.
- Advanced Excel skills required (X-Lookups and Pivot Tables).
- Experience in benefits administration and/or recruiting support preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage large datasets accurately.
- Ability to work independently with minimal training in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in HR systems (UKG preferred).
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and support multiple HR functions.
- Must be available to work on-site, five days per week with flexible start/end times.
