One of Kansas City's top employers is looking to add a Compensation Manager to their ever-growing team. This person will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and presenting salary and compensation data in order to assist in the development of top-notch compensation programs.

Responsibilities:
  • Executes participation in salary surveys and monitors survey data to ensure company compensation goals are met.
  • Completes annual and ad hoc compensation survey participation with selected survey vendors.
  • Evaluates existing roles, creates new role descriptions and responsibilities, and determines appropriate job classifications and compensation levels.
  • Conducts compensation benchmarking through external market review, ensuring compliance with federal/state wage and hour regulations.
  • Prepares data analysis reports and presents findings to senior leadership.
  • Collaborates with HR and department managers to communicate compensation policies and programs to employees.
  • Collaborates with internal team and various departments to support compensation initiatives, providing data-driven recommendations.
  • Assists in the development and administration of compensation programs including incentive plans, bonuses, and equity programs.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in human resources organizational design.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in compensation analysis & planning.
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration or related field.
  • Ability to collect and synthesize large quantities of data, recognizing trends to solve complex problems & develop recommendations.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Highly professional & personable, with expert communication skills.
