Chief Financial Officer - (Manufacturing)
Under the general direction of the CEO and President the Chief Financial Officer is accountable for the administrative, financial, and risk management operations of the company, to include the development of a financial and operational strategy, metrics tied to that strategy, and the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems designed to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develops financial operational strategies by contributing financial and accounting information, analysis, and recommendations to strategic thinking and direction
• Establishes financial operational strategies by evaluating trends; establishing critical measurements; determining production, productivity, quality, and customer-service strategies
• Evaluates and advises on the impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs/strategies and regulatory action.
• Manage the capital request and budgeting processes.
• Develops organization prospects by studying economic trends and revenue opportunities
• Develops financial strategies by forecasting capital, facilities, and staff requirements
• Develops credibility for the finance group by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports and financial trends in order to assist the CEO
• Provides strategic financial input and leadership on decision making issues affecting the organization, i.E., evaluation of potential alliances, acquisitions and/or mergers and investments.
• Protects best interest of the company in contract reviews.
• Oversees employee benefit plans negotiations, with particular emphasis on maximizing a cost-effective benefits package.
• Promotes quality hiring, training, and succession planning in keeping with company values.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’ s degree in finance/accounting
- Minimum 10 years of accounting experience
- Master’ s degree in finance and the Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designations
