Business Systems Analyst
Job Summary
The Business Systems Analyst will serve as the primary subject matter expert supporting all our end user applications. These business systems include ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), EDI (Electronic Data Interchange), business analytics, e-commerce and general office productivity applications. Duties will include application software configuration, end-user training and custom report development. The Business Systems Analyst will serve as the initial point of contact for troubleshooting end-user applications. The Business Systems Analyst will also be responsible for routine system administration tasks related to the application server infrastructure.


Duties/Responsibilities
  • Providing end-user training and support for mission critical business applications.
  • Maintaining ERP system Master Data integrity and perform routine server administration tasks on its infrastructure.
  • Performing systems analyst/business process analyst functions related to ERP system.
  • Providing a high degree of end user (internal customer) satisfaction.
  • Prepare documentation on technical solutions.
  • Prepare reports and correspondence as needed.
Required Skills/Abilities
  • Thorough understanding of general business processes and how they are supported by ERP software
  • 2 years minimum professional experience in either Systems Analysis/Design, End-User Training, ERP Software Implementation/Support, Manufacturing System Implementation/Support or Accounting System Implementation/Support
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products
  • Bachelor’ s Degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Information Technology or business-related field
  • Flexibility with work schedule
  • Being a team player that takes initiative to help others
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Must be able to deal tactfully with end users in both an office and manufacturing environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, able to communicate effectively with all levels within the organization
  • Has the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals and can Interpret and apply instructions furnished in written, oral, and diagram form
  • Deals with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations with ease
Preferred Skills/Abilities
  • Experience with MRP (Material Requirements Planning) software
  • Experience with basic IBM iSeries system administration
  • Experience with SQL, HelpSystems Sequel and/or Query for IBM
