Billing Specialist
We’re partnering with a well-regarded national organization to help them hire a Billing Specialist for a temp-to-hire opportunity. This fully remote role offers the chance to support customers and producers by answering billing-related inquiries, managing financial data, and ensuring a smooth, service-oriented experience. If you’re organized, self-motivated, and enjoy working with numbers, this could be a great fit.
Responsibilities:

Respond to customer billing inquiries, primarily via email

Research payment questions, electronic check returns, and credit card disputes

Support accounts receivable collections and follow up on overdue payments

Maintain organized records and account notes using Excel and internal systems

Assist with identifying and documenting payments lacking proper information

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance and customer support

Work independently while meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of accuracy
Requirements:

Strong written communication skills with the ability to draft professional, customer-focused emails

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data filtering

Calm, reliable, and self-motivated personality with a willingness to ask questions when needed

Proven experience working with numbers, billing, or financial information
-
Experience with Salesforce is a plus but not required
