Are you passionate about helping others and ensuring a seamless benefits experience? Our client is in search of a trusted Benefits Representative to become part of their mission-driven organization. In this role, you will administer health and wellness benefits programs, support human resources systems, and serve as a trusted liaison between associates and vendors. This in-office position offers a dynamic blend of administrative responsibilities and opportunities to connect with a diverse team through human resources functions.
Responsibilities

  • Administer health, dental, vision, life insurance, 403(b) retirement plans, and wellness programs.

  • Manage FMLA, leaves of absence, and disability programs, ensuring compliance with guidelines and regulations.

  • Coordinate associate health needs and benefit-related inquiries with vendors.

  • Support and maintain HRIS systems, input data, and collaborate with IT and the compensation & benefits manager on system updates.

  • Develop and run system queries and reports to support HR operations.

  • Present benefits and wellness communications, including weekly new hire orientations.

  • Coordinate benefit enrollments and assist associates with enrollment or changes in assigned plans.

  • Audit and process benefit billing, premium statements, and related records.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines for associate health clearance and records.

  • Oversee COBRA benefits processing and coordinate with carriers for continuation of coverage.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or three years of related benefit administration experience required.

  • Knowledge of benefit programs and regulations (e.G., FMLA, disability) required.

  • PHR and/or SHRM-CP/SCP Certification preferred.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Familiarity with HRIS/Payroll systems;UKG Pro experience is a plus.

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage high volumes of work with precision.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
