Risk Coordinator
Onsite | Temporary | Parkville, MO
Duration: Approximately 90 days, with potential for temp-to-hire

A growing financial services company is seeking a Risk Coordinator to assist with due diligence and compliance reviews for new and existing business partners. In this role, you’ll gather and verify information, follow structured checklists, and ensure documentation meets company standards.

This position is ideal for someone organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and deadlines matter.

Responsibilities

  • Support onboarding and risk review processes by collecting and verifying required documentation

  • Conduct due diligence activities such as background checks and online business research

  • Track progress and maintain reports to ensure all compliance items are completed

  • Partner with internal teams to ensure data accuracy and policy adherence

  • Organize and maintain records related to third-party assessments and audits

  • Identify missing information or inconsistencies and communicate findings promptly

  • Assist with administrative and reporting needs within the Risk and Compliance team

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience in risk, compliance, or legal support

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable with online research tools
