As an Accounting Credit Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assessing customer creditworthiness, managing credit data, and minimizing risk while maximizing profitability for the company. You will be responsible for conducting thorough analysis, implementing sound credit policies, and maintaining effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.



Responsibilities:
  • Conduct collection calls and monitor accounts receivable to control credit exposure.
  • Recommend and implement appropriate actions for delinquent accounts, negotiating with customers to resolve discrepancies and issues.
  • Coordinate the collection and dissemination of credit data between customers, sales teams, and management.
  • Investigate new and existing accounts, analyzing financial statements and credit reports to determine credit lines.
  • Initiate new account setups and verify essential information for accurate processing.
  • Prepare monthly reports on past due accounts, making recommendations for bad debt write-offs.
  • Collaborate with trade groups for credit exchange information and attend credit conferences to expand knowledge.
  • Maintain accurate records, credit files, and collection notes, keeping the credit manager informed of all relevant matters.



Minimum Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in the credit, accounting, or collections field.
  • Proficiency in credit and financial statement analysis.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Excellent multitasking abilities and problem-solving skills.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to make confident decisions quickly.
  • Capacity to work independently and organize tasks efficiently.
